This weekend was a real weekend off to enjoy with friends, and we did enjoy! We were off to Cardiff for a surprise 40th birthday party. I managed to get a nice new top, and wore some blue heels (yes, back to heels and colour again👏).

Bar 44 in Penarth was the location and with red wine, prosecco and tapas was the order of the evening, with stories and laughter were flowing well.
I still think I am 23, not 37, but something I have learnt with getting a bit older is how important it is to say yes to events. Everybody has a ridiculously busy life and it is so easy to say no because we are tired or busy, but family and friends are so important and it is important to make the effort to make time with them all.

I am home now, lying in the sofa waiting for Victoria to start (love a drama for Sunday night tv), and I’m planning my week ahead too.
I have a week off work, and I cannot wait to start in the farm with my parents in the morning to help with the lambing.
On the food front, the week went very well and I saw weight loss on the scales, I fear my weekend behaviour may have undine all my good work, I will find out tomorrow morning 🤭. We dined well this weekend, but to me the food is a part of the break

Although I still can’t fathom how it doesn’t seem long since I was going to 18th parties and now I am going to 40ths, I have had a fantastic weekend just spending time with people. Food and shoes have played an important role in all the enjoyment, and the sheep time starts in the morning!
I will catch up with you later in the week, thank you for taking the time to call by. X
